Yes. Creating an account is free, playing is free, and there is nothing to buy. Charity Bingo is currently in beta.

Bingo Points are what winners receive when a game's pot is split. They are not cash, have no monetary value to you, and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, or transferred to another player. The only thing you can do with them is give them to a charity on our list.

You pick a default charity when you sign up. You can give Bingo Points to any listed charity at any time, and any points you still hold at the end of the month go to your default charity automatically. Okachobi, LLC then directs a share of its advertising revenue to the charities in proportion to the points each one received. Players never pay anything.

It is 75-ball bingo. Every player gets four cards. A ball is drawn about every 8 seconds. When a bingo is called there is a 15-second claim window, then the pot is split among all valid winners as Bingo Points. After a 30-second intermission the next game starts.

The current game is Line Bingo: when one of your cards has a complete row, column or diagonal (the centre square is free), call bingo in the game. Once a bingo is called there is a 15-second window for anyone else with a valid bingo to claim too; everyone who claims in time shares the pot.

Not on the screen yet, and we know you want it. Right now each ball is shown large on the screen and announced out loud as it's called, and it stays there until the next one drops, so you can daub along in real time. A full call board (every number called so far in the game) is on our list. The current layout doesn't have room for it without shrinking your cards, so we're working on a way to show it without getting in the way, most likely as a board you can tap to show and hide. It will land in a future update; no need to ask, it's coming.

Yes. After you sign up we send an activation link to your email address, and you need to click it before you can log in and play.

Charity Bingo runs in a modern web browser on phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. There is nothing to download or install.

The server draws the balls at random and everyone in the room sees the same draw at the same time. Every player gets the same number of cards, and there is nothing to buy that would give anyone an advantage.

You must be 18 or older to create an account.

Not yet. During the beta period there may be no advertising, and without advertising there is no revenue to donate. Once we integrate advertising, Bingo Points will result in real donations. Until then, you are helping us test the donation system.

During the beta the list of charities is deliberately short, but we would love suggestions. We are still working out a fair process for choosing charities and how donations are split, so for now send your suggestion to admin@okachobi.com and we will get back to you. More details will follow once the process is settled.
