How Charity Bingo works
The rules of the game, and how a win turns into a donation. It's free, it's in beta, and there's nothing to buy.
Create your free account
Choose a nickname, enter your email, and pick a default charity. You'll need to verify your email before you can play — check your inbox for the activation link. No payment details are ever asked for.
Press Play
The game opens right in your browser — nothing to download. There's one room, and everyone in it plays the same game together. If a game is already running you'll join at the next one; there's a 30-second intermission between games.
You get four cards
Every player gets four 75-ball bingo cards for each game. There's nothing to buy and no way to get more — everyone plays with the same four.
Watch the balls drop live
A new ball is called about every 8 seconds, and the whole room sees the same draw at the same moment. Mark your cards as the numbers come up, and use the chat if you feel like talking.
Complete a line and claim within 15 seconds
Today's game is Line Bingo: any full row, column or diagonal on one of your cards wins (the centre square is free). When you have one, call bingo. Once a bingo is called there's a 15-second claim window for anyone else who also has it; the pot is then split among all valid winners as Bingo Points.
Give your points to charity
Bingo Points are not cash and can't be withdrawn. Donate them to any charity on our list whenever you like; anything you still hold at the end of the month goes to your default charity automatically. Okachobi, LLC then directs a share of its advertising revenue to the charities in proportion to the points they received.
Winning patterns
The game you can play today is Line Bingo: the first card to complete any straight line wins. The other patterns are on our roadmap as future variants and rotating games; they don't win anything in the current game.
